Dublin airport’s new Terminal 2 has been described as ‘a first-class mix of form and function’ – a contemporary, high-spec building designed for efficiency. Specifically designed to appeal to, and cope with 15 million passengers a year, this modern, curvy building needed washrooms that would look good, and be up to the challenges of a rigorous commercial environment.

A bespoke dryer unit was built for this project. Working with the architects, Pascall & Watson, Dolphin created bespoke units including hand dryers, taps and a 5 litre refillable soap tank. This was built into a drawer unit so that it was easily filled, and the whole system was accessible from behind too for easy maintenance.

When the offices at One Dockland required modernization, RKD Architects approached Dolphin Solutions to help create a high spec washroom tailored to their needs.
